LET DIVINE GET A CHANCE TO ACT
Ending life means “now what?”; declaring the failure means “So what?”

I was trying to ends meet in the lockdown.
In that moment I only prayed that no one should go through such a situation again.
No one should suffer so much that, he is enable to put a piece of bread on his plate.
It was a hard time, but it also revealed a lot of things.
For society — You don’t have to be in an office to get work done.
For Families — Co-existence and spending 24 hours together can be devastating. (Reports of domestic violence increased)
Me — I declared myself unsuccessful, and it gave me the freedom to do unconventional things that I wouldn’t have done otherwise.
I used to stay alone in my apartment. I found an eager buyer for it and sold it for a good price.
Packed my bags and loaded them on the bike to start a year-and-a-half-long journey in South India.
Started a project and made investments; utterly failed at them and yet was in content.
I lived.
Nothing of it would have happened, if I hadn’t declared myself unsuccessful.
We suffer.
Mostly for unsolicited reasons.
To keep up with what is deemed to be normal by the society.
To be on the page of the book you reading of a famous guru.
We suffer to be a winner, in the eyes of others.
But in reality, we are all going to fail at the race with life in hands of the death.
The only way to escape the cycle of birth and death is to detach from it.
Die before the death arises, and declare yourself unsuccessful.
{Please note that the above sentence is made in a spiritual context and is not to be taken as a sign to end your life}
There is a difference between ending your life and declaring yourself unsuccessful.
Ending life means “now what?”; declaring the failure means “So what?”
I am not a good fit for the pretentious vanity parties — So what?
I am not made to be grinned in the systems of the corporate world — So what?
I don’t fit the status quo of what it means to be an adult man and what is expected from me socially — So what?
You have to understand you are free.
And to be truly free, you have to disengage from borrowed aspiration and declare your defeat.
It is foolishness to run behind everything that is moving.
It is idiocy to find gratification in what others think is victory.
Declare your defeat, as it does not matter whether you win or lose the rat race.
Everybody loses it anyway. It is designed to be lost, and make you feel miserable.
Then you are given a dose of Motivation and Monitory compensation so that you wake up and run in the race again.
It is not meant to be won, nor meant to lose either.
“A salary is the drug they give you to forget your dreams.”
— Kevin O’Leary
When you are defeated you quit the race.
When you are out of the arena, you introspect. Investigate your mind and the meaning of life.
You start peeling the layers of social conditioning to find who you are.
Something beautiful, something unexpected happens when you shred societal expectations and start looking into your life in a deeper sense.
Wonder is revealed within when you stop looking for answers and give up on the world outside.
When you become inactive, something else, divine gets a chance to act.
When you find yourself, you become your world.
The way of disengagement might feel negative for a while, I won’t lie.
Swallow it like medicine, and the madness within you will cure you from the stupidity of the world.
Become open to help
Declaring defeat opens doors beyond your comprehension.
You submit and become more humble and surrender to the present moment.
A true victor is the one who lives in the present moment.
A courageous knows how to ask for help.
You are not alone.
You will not know who your fellow travellers are until you start the journey towards yourself.
Become your own fellow traveller first, and you will have an experience to share with other fellow travellers and the world.
Start with a NO
It might feel like light advice given the premise of the platform.
But many spiritual practices like Buddhism are based on saying NO to everything that comes your way.
How does it translate to your world?
Don’t expect things to go anyway, your way.
We have a habit of labelling things even before it comes to fruition.
We build castles in the sky, as the very first sign of success.
After working on my project for 5 years now I earn a dime here and there despite of large mental, physical and financial investment.
I don’t label it as success neither I label it as failure.
I do my work and set myself aside.
If given a chance, I will label it as a failure and declare my defeat.
And say NO to the possibility of success.
Because then I get to inspect the reason why I am working on the project.
Will I continue to work on it even if it is not going to work?
If the answer is Yes, you have found your true calling.
If the answer is No, something else is waiting to be fallen in your lap.
Keep it empty.
No not that book, please
I used to read a lot of self-help books.
I was initiated in those books by some of my mentors whom I respect.
But there came a time when I burned all the books because I didn’t feel the information they provided was valid for life.
I declared my failure on them and on friends who were against my decision.
The way life is going to take course is a mystery.
The way life is going to go is not written in the books.
Let it happen and you will free yourself from the burden of shaping it to your and others\’ whims and fancies.
It holds beauty in the mystery if you say NO to the preconceived notions on how change should occur in life.
It holds disappointment if you try to determine how it should go.
Say NO — Declare failure — live like a badass.
